Christmas in Saint-Tropez 2007
Christmas is for children with Christmas presents and Christmas parties…A warm and friendly atmosphere prevails in every part of the town, amidst the illuminations and decorations which make up the enchantment of Christmas.
Many animations and events are in store: the enchanted forest and the skating rink, shows, concerts, exhibitions, the arrival of Father Christmas from the sea, and the traditional evening before midnight Mass. Also the large "anchoïade" and fireworks on New Year's Eve.
Not to be missed, the scientific debates open to the public, free entrance "les mystères du XXIème siècle", this year's theme is the climate.

A workshop for children upon the theme "the house of Father Christmas" as part of the International Polar Year.
At the children's library: 10 am for children from 3 to 6.

Exhibition Reginald Weston " Renaissance 1960-1967
Inauguration at l'Ambassade du Tourisme at 12. 15 pm
Exhibition from December the 8th to January the 6th open every day except Decmber the 25th and January the 1st. From 10 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 7 pm at the Ambassade du Tourisme and the Lavoir Vasserot. Free entrance.

Téléthon 2007
Parade with the Tropezian associations and schools, starting at 9.30 from the Place de la Garonne. Various animations all along the day with all the different associations.
"Les mystères du XXIème Siècle" the Climate.
The theme: "Climate changes due to man". 10 to 1 am at l'Espace Rendez-Vous des Lices Free entrance.

Children's Exhibition "about Father Christmas's house" at the Children's library from 10 to 12.30 pm and 3.30 to 6 pm from December the 8th to January the 6th.
Vernissage of the "Bonnard drawings" at the Annonciade Museum at 6 pm
The town lights up at 6.30 pm all over the town, on the harbour.
At 6.50 pm the Christmas tree on the harbour
At 6.45 pm the Place des Lices the skating rink and the enchanted forest
At 7.15 a show on ice upon the theme: Cinema
An Exhibition of puppets and robots in the enchanted forest from December the 8th to January the 6th. From December the 8th to the 21st Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 3 to 7 pm Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays : 10 to 1 pm and 3 to 7 pm.

"les mystères du XXI ème siècle" theme: " general warming up to the unavoidable adjustment to climate changes". At the Espace Rendez-Vous des Lices. Free entrance.
Exhibition: Bonnard's Drawings at the Annonciade Museum
From 10 to 12 pm and 2 to 6 pm every day except Tuesdays from December the 9th to end of March 2008.
Wednesday December the 12th
A show for children at the children's library: "Father Christmas in red and white" by the Guilledou Company 10 am. At 11 am :
Michka the Christmas bear for children aged 3 to 6, followed by a concert with the children of the Rostropowitch-Landowski music school at the enchanted forest.
"When I grow up I'll be Father Christmas" for over 7's with games after the show.
From 10 to 12 pm a workshop for children : writing a letter ot Father Christmas" together with l'UDACS every Wednesday of December until the school holidays at the children's library.
At 11 am a children's choir from the Rostropowitch-Landowski music school.
3 pm tea offered to all the Saint-Tropez children at the enchanted forest.
Saturday December the 15th
Sending letters to Father Christmas.
All letters written will be loaded upon a carriage which will bring them to Father Christmas from 2.30 to 4 pm on the Place de la Garonne and 4.15 pm on the harbour.
Christmas regatta with the Saint-Tropez Yacht Club all day long upon the waters of the Bay.
Sunday December the 16th
Concert by the pupils of Cécilia Norick at 10 am at the Renaissance cinema. Free entrance
Concert by the Armenian Choir of Shabah-Mesrop of Marseilles at the Parish Church at 5.30 pm. Free entrance
Wednesday December the 19th
A show for children at the Children's library at 3 pm : " Nono Tintamarre" shadows and tales by Jean-François Philippot followed by a tea offered by the town of Saint-Tropez at the enchanted forest.
Friday December the 21st
Inauguration of the future Museum of Mediterranean Imagination at the Citadelle at 11.30 (maps and plans will help visualize the future Museum).
Saturday December the 22nd
The Christmas little train will tour the streets of Saint-Tropez from December the 22nd to January the 6th, open to all.
From December the 17th to the 21st for school children only.
Maps of the future Tropezian Museum of Mediterranean Imagination at the Citadelle Museum: 10 to 12.30 pm and 1.30 to 5.30 pm. The exhibition is open from December the 22nd to January the 9th 2008.

Concert "la Pastorale" with the "Rampeu" at the Renaissance Museum at 3 pm

Traditional crib at the Parish Church from 9.30 to 12 pm

Provençal crib at the Chapel of la Misericorde evey Friday after the office.
Protestant service at the Temple rue du Temple at 4 pm
Children's Mass at 5 pm at the Parish Church.
Arrival of Father Christmas at 6
30 pm on the harbour.
Midnight Mass at the Parish Church after the Provençal evening sung by the Rampeu Choir at 11.30.
Friday December the 28th
Christmas Antiques Dealers Fair at 6 pm at the Espace des Lices. Inauguration on December the 28th until January the 5th everyday from 10 to 7.30 pm at l'Espace des Lices.
Saturday December the 29th
Conference about Mediterranean butterflies by Dany Lartigue at la Maison des Papillons at 6 pm. "Butterflies of the Mediterranean". Booking with the Service Culturel before December the 17th, tel: 04 94 97 54 37 is compulsory.
Sunday December the 30th
Concert by Joseph Coppey and Frederic Lagoutte organ and Saxo at the Parish Church at 5 pm. Free entrance.
